Align With Your Values To Lead With Your Heart

Updated: Aug 6, 2024

Your core values are the things that you carry close to your heart. They are the memos in your subconscious that lead your actions. If you are unclear on your values, you may be unconsciously led by the values of others. This can be problematic and lead to feelings of disharmony.

Aligning with your values is harmony with your higher self, God, the “good angel, etc. Something greater than your ego. When we are aligned with our values, we are in our purpose. If you aren’t in alignment with your values, you aren’t acting from a place of authenticity.

Some key indicators you aren’t in alignment with your values:

  • Increased Stress or Anxiety

  • Constant Frustration

  • Lack of Fulfillment

  • Frequent Resentment

  • Internal Conflict

  • Disconnection from Purpose

  • Difficulty in Decision-Making

  • Physical Symptoms

  • Relationship Strain

  • Lack of Motivation

Next Steps

  1. Clarify your values

  2. Assess where you are out of alignment

  3. Share your values with trusted friends/mentors

  4. Commit to value-driven decisions

  5. Hire someone to help with accountability if needed
